Occupational Therapy
We understand that everyday tasks can feel overwhelming for children with autism. Our Occupational Therapy (OT) services are designed to help children develop the skills they need to feel confident, independent, and successful in their daily lives.
Our experienced Occupational Therapists work with children in a fun, supportive environment to target areas such as:
Fine motor skills: Improving hand strength and coordination for tasks like writing, using utensils, buttoning clothes, or cutting with scissors
Gross motor skills: Enhancing balance, strength, and coordination for activities like climbing, jumping, or riding a bike
Sensory processing: Helping children manage sensory sensitivities or seek appropriate sensory input, so they feel more comfortable and focused in their environment
Self-care skills: Supporting independence in daily routines such as dressing, feeding, brushing teeth, and toileting
Emotional regulation: Teaching calming strategies and coping skills to handle big feelings in positive, age-appropriate ways
Attention and focus: Building the ability to stay on task, follow directions, and complete activities at home, school, or in therapy
